I love to read, my whole family do. I used to read pretty much anything but I'm a little more picky about my choices now.
I always have a long-running series on the go, usually military historical fiction (US) set in the 18th and 19th Centuries. I've read Flashman, Aubrey-Maturin and Sharpe, now I'm getting towards the end of Hornblower and thinking about what to read next.
I listen to a lot of audiobooks too. I'm working my way through all of Shakespeare's works thanks to the BBC's excellent audioplays. I've found that I enjoy non-fiction in audiobook form more than reading. I mostly listen to popular science or biographies. I also like audiobooks for those very long classic novels that you think you really should read but the sheer weight of the book puts you off. It's much better to let someone else read it for you!
