Before aStores, I used Mr Rat's Amazon Products Feed for my online book/etc stores. It's a great script, very easy to set up initially yet highly customisable. But it uses up bandwidth like you wouldn't believe! So, when Amazon started aStores, I switched to them completely. The only problem is that aStores restrict you to exactly what you put in the store (either specific products or bestsellers in a specific category); if you want to have a wider store, you have to put in the time to create categories for everything. The APF script does that automatically. So I've decided to set up one APF store (US version). I have plenty of spare bandwidth on the Everyman account and a spare domain (mandytonks.co.uk) that currently only has a simple aStore on it. I thought it would be interesting to have a play with the script again. At the moment, there's only the very basic APF install but I'll do some more work on it and write more later.
