My sister (in her late twenties) gave me (in my mid-thirties) the Chorlton And The Wheelies DVD box set for Xmas. "Forty gorgeous episodes", as Queen Doris would say. Well, 39 episodes and a Christmas Special. I've watched two of the three series and, I have to say, it's brilliant. Better than I remember it (how often does that happen?); very silly; surreal, with definite Goons and Monty Python undertones; and almost completely politically incorrect by today's standards. Brilliant doesn't even begin to cover it :-) If you've got a thing for old kids' TV shows, you must see this!
